About the Artist

Dr. Suzanne Lopez was a fine art major in college She designed unique Siver and jewel stone jewelry while doing her master's degree. She then before became a licensed therapist in California and New Mexico. She went on to be a lifestyle media expert on national TV and a nationally acclaimed published (Putnam) author. Dr Lopez has been a national for corporations and continuing education as well as a teacher at the graduate level.  Moving to New Mexico re-inspired the artist within Dr. Lopez, and she began creating art again.

Peace, Love, possibilities, Transformation, and Abundance are all focuses that are reflected in her Nichos (Altars) and her images of the Divine Feminine. Using words, re-purposed objects, and the colors of the Southwest, her altars, Dia de Los Muertos skulls, and other art pieces are reflective of the current research at Harvard and Yale of positive psychology and the quantum physics of consciousness and manifestation. Dr. Lopez’s work is that of a contemporary Santeria and folk artist.

You can find Dr. Lopez’s work in the private collections of national TV stars, film stars, music artists, and corporate collections. Her work has been shown at galleries in LA, San Diego, San Francisco, New York, and New Mexico. She recently had a piece placed in the Hispanic Museum in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
